ePub Virginia Woolf ePub

by Edward Bishop

Edward Bishop's biography of Virginia Woolf's life sheds much-needed light on several reoccurring themes that tend to resurface in her novels and other writings. Bishop does a wonderful job of discussing Woolf's motivation for writing as he addresses several of her books in detail: The Voyage Out, 'Kew Gardens', Jacob's Room, Mrs. Dalloway, To the Lighthouse, The Waves, Between the Acts, and Woolf's Essays. If you have read any of Woolf's works or are simply interested in how her life influenced her writing, then I would highly recommend reading this book!
