Overall, I mostly enjoyed the story line. But there were a lot of parts of the book that irked me. There were many grammar/punctuation mistakes. The characters were not developed at all. I couldn't connect or care about any of them and some seemed unreal. Like Alisha was mean one minute, nice the next and it never made sense for her to act the ways she did.

There was lack of consistency in some things, for example the names. Ronan refers to Burke's mom as Mrs. Harold sometimes, and sometimes Aunt Terry. The dialogue between the characters didn't seem believable. And especially the relationship between Ronan and Cat. It escalated to total love "let's get married" too quickly. They barely knew each other and it just didn't work for me.

Lastly so many things seemed to happen exactly when it would be convenient for them to get out of a situation, rather than because it will be needed for the story later.

There were a lot of parts that I didn't like, but for some reason I still wanted to keep reading to see how it ended.
